Ambient QoL — Five‑Domain Framework

We compute five domain scores, each 0–100 (higher is better), plus a composite. Confidence bands reflect data volume and consistency.

1) Physical

Signals: steps, walking speed proxy, sedentary ratio, sleep duration/interruptions, HR/HRV, SpO2 (if available).

2) Emotional / Cognitive

Signals: speech tempo/pauses/pitch variability, language sentiment from optional journals, typing latency proxies (if captured in‑app).

3) Social / Behavioral

Signals: weekly social engagement item, mobility radius (home/away ratio), routine regularity, optional communication metadata trends (counts only).

4) Symptom Burden

Signals: breathlessness, fatigue, swelling items; weight change; dyspnea‑related speech strain features.

5) Environmental

Signals: ambient noise (home calm vs chaotic), light exposure patterns, weather/air quality indices contextualized to patient.

Governance: Each domain has a feature list, weights, and validation metrics; all versions are recorded to enable trial submission and clinical audit.
